Last year, my friends and I shaved our heads to earn donations for a new biopsy chair for the Ottawa Hospital’s Breast Health Centre.
We had so much fun that we’re doing it again this year! Three of my friends and I have pledged to raise $10,000 for the Ottawa Hospital’s Women’s Cancer Service Centre. We will be shaving our heads at the San Valentino Dance on Feb 11, 2017 which will take place at St. Anthony’s Banquet Hall.
Right now, the Women’s Cancer Service Centre is trying to raise a total of $250,000 to start the construction of a larger facility so that more women to be served in less time. As you know, early detection and treatment of cancer really improves a person’s chances of survival.

You can also attend the San Valentino Dance in person. Last year we had a ceremonial head shaving, which everyone really enjoyed. After that we all danced long into the night.
We all had a wonderful time last year, and it promises to be even better this year. You can see photos of all the festivities here.
If you would like to purchase tickets please contact me through this form (mention my name in the subject line) and I would be happy to help you.
I thank you all in advance for your time and generosity and if you are free it would be great to see you at the dance.
Sincerely,
Giuseppe Castrucci,
Laurysen Kitchens
