It’s early in February and we’re still trying to raise as much money as possible to benefit the Ottawa Hospital Breast Health Centre. As you may have read in my original post, the goal was to raise money for a biopsy chair that will allow the hospital to screen for cancer. The new chair will be more accurate, more comfortable for the patients, and will help save lives by catching breast cancer early.
You Can Donate Until February 13th 2016
To earn your donations I am shaving my head!
That’s right, four friends and I are losing our locks at the San Valentino Dinner and Dance. The fun is happening on Saturday February 13th starting at 6 PM at St. Anthony’s Banquet Hall. The cost is only $65 per person.
You can contact us to get tickets, and please mention my name, Giuseppe Castrucci. To learn how to donate or book tickets check out the instructions here.
Thank You To…
I would like to thank all of the generous donors who have contributed so far. There are a lot of people who are really excited to see how I look bald (I’ll be posting photos for sure).
The following companies have donated premium Door Prizes:
- Gold Form Jewelers: Grand Prize (his and hers jewellery)
- GRECO Lean & Fit: membership
- TALOS Custom Homes: 2 Tickets for Ottawa Senators night out
Sponsors:
- Bam Paving & Milano Auto Body: free photo booth
- Tiny Hoppers Daycare: candy table
- Dolphin Financial: complimentary roses for all the ladies
We’re In The Home Stretch
So far we’ve raised $11,000. That will cover the chair but we’ve set our sights on a new goal: helping them get funding for more equipment for the breast cancer unit. Breast cancer is a terrible disease and we want to give every patient in our community the best fighting chance possible.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Sincerely,
Giuseppe Castrucci
